About This Project

Use of ICT for Improving Reproductive Health Services in Bangladesh is a partnership program to empower health workers and strengthen the health system in selected districts of Bangladesh. As part of this program, Intel created The Intel Skoool, Healthcare Education Platform that provides an anytime anywhere multi-media content delivery and assessment platform. UNFPA has been a major supporter of the United Nations Secretary-Generals Global Strategy for Women and Children’ Health, based on which they have announced a joint commitment to strengthen the skills of midwives and community health workers through technology and training materials.

 

Reproductive Health Modules developed on:

  1. Population Problem & current situation of Reproductive Health including maternal, neonatal health and Family Planning in Bangladesh.
  2. Anatomy & physiology of reproductive system
  3. Basic operational manual on how to use your computer.
  4. Maternal Health: Maternal mortality, morbidity its causes, Safe motherhood; ANC: delivery, PNC, birth planning, common reproductive health problems, role of front line health workers in timely referral.
  5. Neonatal health including breastfeeding.
  6. Communication & Role of front line health workers as effective communicators.
